
After an amazing event in Kalkar last year, we are back for 2026! The European Open Championships is hosted by the United Country Western Dance Council. The UCWDC is the sanctioning body for more than 30 competitive dance events around the world. From starter to stars and from solo dancing to teams, this event has it all for anyone’s competitive ambitions.
Not ready to compete on the dance floor? Enjoy a full weekend of diverse workshops led by international star choreographers and coaches, and enjoy social dancing Thursday evening through Sunday at a variety of parties and sessions.
Competition
This prestigious dance event runs from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Detailed schedules will be published closer to the event. We offer Line Dance, ProAm, and Couples competitions for traditional and mixed roles, including teams, choreography, and much more. There is truly something for everyone! Please make sure to be ready to compete at 4pm!
Workshops
Get ready for an electrifying weekend filled with world-class instruction! We’re bringing together an incredible lineup of international dance experts, teaching everything from detailed arm styling to the hottest new social dances. So far, we’ve confirmed the amazing Satu Ketellapper and Mike Wagner—and this is just the beginning! More outstanding instructors will be announced soon, so be sure to follow us on social media for the latest updates.

Saturday Night – An Evening of Stars
Prepare to be dazzled by the “neon moon” as some of the world’s finest line and couples dancers take the floor, competing for the coveted title of European Open Champion. Enjoy an electrifying showcase of talent, followed by an incredible night of social dancing that will keep you on your feet until the early hours!
