A line dancer since her early childhood, Rachael competed in the 1999 UCWDC European Championships in the Advanced Teen division. Later that year, she turned 18, competed in the Open Advanced division winning every event she entered, and won both Classic and Showcase Line Dance at Worlds 2000 in Nashville. With that win, Rachael became first European female to achieve Superstar status. At Worlds 2021, she earned a World Championship in the Superstar division.

Rachael’s early success propelled her into teaching and performance opportunities. In 2001, she co-founded Masters in Line (now World Dance Masters) but resigned in 2007 to pursue her passion for teaching. She briefly returned to the competition floor dancing Couples Showcase with Lee Easton in Division 1. Still, line dance teaching opportunities took priority, and she took another break from competition, travelling over 40 weekends in one year.

In 2012, Rachael pursued another dream—to live in the USA. That same year, she competed with Albert Tailleur. At Worlds in 2013, they won the Classic Masters Division. Several years later, she married and started a family and now enjoys four energetic little boys!

She still teaches, organizes, and judges several dance events each year, but between dance and family, she has lived most every dream she has ever imagined.
