The UCWDC^® offers Team Dance Competition divisions for Partner Dances, Line Dances – or a combination of both. The earliest UCWDC competitions were performance teams. Groups of dancers, often representing local social clubs or nightclubs, performed synchronized choreography in their communities and enjoyed friendly rivalries at sanctioned events.
