Classic Line Dance

In UCWDC® Classic Line Dance competition, dancers are evenly spaced in lines across the dance floor and perform the selected choreography as written in step descriptions. During the first dance-through, the choreography must be danced as written.

In Novice and above divisions, competitors can then vary from the step descriptions using their own choreography to highlight the music, as long as the steps follow the original flow of the dance. Classic rules do not allow any floor work or acrobatics.
