The United Country Western Dance Council is proud to welcome you to the first Asian Open Championship!

Dancers all across the Asia are enthusiastically embracing country dancing and participation at UCWDC regional events is growing rapidly. A new UCWDC championship event in Asia reflects the energy and excitement for our dancesport in a yet another global destination. We are delighted to provide our members with a high-quality, world-class continental championship that observes the regional influences of the Asia-Pacific countries.

Whether you are a competitor or social dancer, teacher or student, spectator or supporter, we hope you will join us for this incredible inaugural event.

Competition

This prestigious dance event runs from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Detailed schedules will be published closer to the event. We offer Line Dance, ProAm and Partner competitions along with teams and choreography competition. There is truly something for everyone.

Workshops and Instruction

Get ready to learn new dances and expand your knowledge of country dance. We’re bringing together an incredible lineup of international dance instructors. Featured instruction includes a Fundamental-Level Training Class for judges and a Competition Dances Technics workshop for competitors.

Parties
The championship weekend concludes with the Gathering Party on 22 November 2026. You won’t want to miss this spectacular closing event.
